ISO standards

Four standards, one approach

We build and audit management systems to the four most-requested ISO standards – one at a time, or combined into a single integrated system with shared documents and one audit program.

  • Quality policy, objectives and process maps
  • Customer, supplier and non-conformance records
  • Updated for the 2026 revision

ISO 45001 – WHS

  • WHS policy, risk register and SWMS
  • Consultation, incidents and emergency planning
  • Built around your real tasks

FAQs

Common questions

Do I legally need a WHS management system?

Victoria’s Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 requires employers to provide and maintain a safe workplace so far as is reasonably practicable. A documented system is how you show you are doing that – and head contractors, tenders and prequalification panels usually ask to see one. On larger construction projects, principal contractors also have specific planning duties under the OHS Regulations 2017.

Will my business be ISO certified?

We build systems aligned to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 or 27001 and prepare you for certification. The certificate itself is issued by an independent, accredited certification body. In our Certification Program we run the gap audit and pre-certification internal audit, and attend the certification audit with you.

Which ISO standards do you work with?

ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) and ISO 27001 (information security). Our principal is a qualified ISO lead auditor.

Can you combine several standards?

Yes. Two or more standards can run as one integrated management system with shared policies, document control, internal audits and management review. Integrated systems are quoted on scope.

How long does it take?

WHS Starter is usually 1–2 weeks, a full WHS System 4–6 weeks, and a standalone gap audit 1–2 weeks including the report. Certification usually takes 3–4 months. Your written quote confirms the timeframe for your scope.

What do I need to provide?

Any documents you already have, a list of your main tasks and sites, a contact person, and a little time from your team for short interviews and a review of the drafts.

Do you come to site?

Yes. We visit sites across Melbourne and Geelong to see the work, talk to your crew and check controls. Travel outside metro areas is charged at actual cost, shown in your quote.

Are the documents ours to keep?

Yes. You receive editable Word files under document control (numbered and revised), so your team can keep them up to date after handover.

Can you write SWMS for my subcontractors?

We can set up your SWMS template and a simple process for checking subcontractors’ SWMS before work starts. Each employer stays responsible for its own SWMS, so we help you review theirs rather than take over their duty.

What happens after handover?

Many clients keep us on for ongoing WHS support (from $1,250/month, minimum 6 months): document control, incident reviews, a monthly site visit and audit preparation.
