How OHS Talks Pty Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

OHS Talks Pty Ltd (ABN 96 702 010 964) (“OHS Talks”, “we”, “us”) is based in Hoppers Crossing, Victoria. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • Enquiries: when you use our contact form, email or call us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name and the details you give us about your enquiry.
  • Clients and training participants: contact details, site and job information needed to deliver the service, and course attendance and certificate records.
  • Payments: invoice payments on our Pay page are processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe – we never see or store your full card number.
  • Website use: like most websites, we and our service providers collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and how you arrived at our site (for example from a Google ad).

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and deliver our services.
  • To issue invoices, receipts and course certificates.
  • To run and improve our website and measure whether our advertising works.
  • To send you information you have asked for. We only send marketing emails in line with the Spam Act 2003, and every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. We use the Google tag from Google Ads to measure visits from our ads and actions such as sending the contact form or clicking our phone number or email address. Google may use cookies to show our ads to people who have visited our site. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google ad settings and block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Our site will still work if you block cookies.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where needed to run our business, including with:

  • our website, hosting and email providers (such as Hostinger and Google Workspace);
  • our form and payment providers (such as WPForms and Stripe);
  • Google, for advertising measurement as described above;
  • delivery partners working on your job (for example a partner drone operator), with your knowledge;
  • our accountant, insurers and professional advisers, or where required by law.

Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect it.

Security and how long we keep it

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including secure (HTTPS) connections and limiting who can access it. We keep records only as long as we need them for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax records for at least five years), then securely delete them.

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask a question about this policy, by contacting us below. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
