Get your drone business CASA-ready and keep it that way – ReOC applications from first assessment to lodgement, staff training, operations manuals and records – run by a practising Chief Remote Pilot.
📍 Melbourne-based · working with businesses Australia-wide (remote)
Who it’s for
- Businesses starting commercial drone work with drones over 2 kg

Problems we fix

FAQs
Common questions
Do I need a ReOC?
Generally, yes if you fly commercially with a drone over 2 kg, or outside standard operating conditions. Commercial flying with a drone under 2 kg within standard operating conditions usually falls in the excluded category instead – that needs CASA operator accreditation and drone registration, not a ReOC. Our ReOC guide walks through it.
How long does a ReOC take?
Our ReOC Program typically runs 2–3 months, depending on scope and how quickly CASA assesses the application.
Do CASA fees come out of your price?
No. CASA fees are separate and paid to CASA. Our prices include GST and are starting prices.
Who has to be named on the application?
A ReOC names key personnel, including a Chief Remote Pilot and a maintenance controller. We help you choose and prepare the right people, and coach them for CASA interviews.
Can you be our Chief Remote Pilot?
We can coach and support your nominated Chief Remote Pilot. Whether we can take on the role ourselves depends on your operation – ask us on the free call.
We already have a ReOC. Can you help?
Yes. The Manual Health Check reviews your manual and library against current CASA rules and your fleet, and gives you a marked-up fix list.
Is this CASA-approved?
No consultant can promise approval. Certificates and approvals are issued only by CASA – we prepare you properly so the application has the best chance.
Do you train our drone staff? Is it accredited?
Yes – non-accredited, in-house training on your operations manual, procedures, emergency drills and WHS for drone work, plus preparation for your Chief Remote Pilot and maintenance controller. OHS Talks is not a Registered Training Organisation and does not issue the RePL (remote pilot licence) – that must be done with a CASA-certified training provider, and we build your in-house training around it.
